Steam is not starting? Probably something went wrong on the last update so we need to force a new one.
In order to do this, you have to navigate to the Steam folder in Program Files (e.g. C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam) and delete the following files:

ClientRegistry.blob
steam.dll
steamui.dll

Now, start steam and another update will run. 99% of cases, it works ;)
